Clusters of lipodystrophic cells

Causes

Cellulite corresponds to the formation of clusters of lipodystrophic cells (fat cells) combined with water retention. It is most often due to venous-lymphatic weakness leading to chronic cellular self-intoxication as a result of delayed elimination which causes oedema, pain, and sometimes cramps in the lower limbs. It is most often located in the “saddlebags”, abdomen, hips, or even arms.

Treatment

Treatment consists of injecting products to strengthen the veino-lymphatic network to improve elasticity of the vessel wall and the “pump” phenomenon regulating veino-lymphatic return. We also aim to strengthen collagen fibers (silica), which create a veritable “elastic support mesh” within the tissues helping to prevent skin sagging.
Finally, resorption of adipose cells is promoted by lipolytic agents.
