Causes
Most migraines originate in the 2nd cervical vertebra (C2), where the vertebral canal is narrowed due to the specific anatomical configuration of the first two vertebrae (Atlas and Axis). This narrowing results in neuro-vascular disorders of vertebral origin leading to headache. The temporo-fronto-orbital region is unilaterally, or sometimes bilaterally, and / or alternately affected.
Clinical examination reveals hypercalcification of C2 or exostosis with “exquisite” pain in response to pressure.
Numerous scientific publications have validated this hypothesis of the origin of migraines or “Cervicogenic Headaches”.
Treatment
The recommended treatment is mesochelation, which “widens the spinal cavity without surgery”. This treatment is very safe, providing relief on the locoregional neuro-vascular compression points. Treatment requires an average of 6 sessions with a few booster sessions to relieve this type of disorder – eliminating it or greatly reducing its incidence.
